Despicable Me 4

So, in this new chapter of the story, Gru’s back at his old school reunion for all the baddies from Licée Pas Bon. It’s where he bumps into Maxime Le Mal. This dude hasn’t forgotten a prank Gru pulled on him way back when. Things get messy when the Anti-Villain League cops swoop in and arrest Maxime, but not before he vows to take down Gru. The league’s chief tells Gru that it’s probably best for him and his family to hide out somewhere safe.

So off they go—Gru, Lucy, their daughters Margo, Edith, and Agnes—and there’s a new addition named little baby Gru Jr.! They all head to this nice town called Mayflower with their trusty Minions, Phil, Ron, and Ralph tagging along. But there’s a catch: they’ve got to ditch their past and come up with new identities. As you can imagine, that’s not exactly smooth sailing! Plus, they’ve got these snooty neighbors who have a teenage daughter named Poppy. Poppy tries to rope Gru into pulling off a big-time heist.

Meanwhile, some folks at the Anti-Villain League are giving five Minions superpowers to turn them into elite agents. And don’t forget about Maxime—he’s taking his cockroach obsession WAY too far by using it as some kind of weapon against Gru.

The director Chris Renaud is back for round four of our favorite despicable series. This time we’ve got fresh faces both in villains and in heartwarming moments—like how obsessed Gru seems with winning over his newborn son. It’s clear this episode really dives deep into what lengths a dad will go for his kiddo!
In this new adventure, the Minions are back and stealing the spotlight with their hilarious antics! These little yellow guys are responsible for most of the laughs, though Lucy also has a couple of funny moments up her sleeve.

The music in the movie is a fun mix. You’ve got original songs by Pharrell Williams and some awesome 80s hits. It all builds up to a cool cover of “Everybody Wants To Rule the World” by Tears for Fears—a perfect fit since everyone wants to conquer something, right?

Despicable Me 4 speeds along, making sure to give screen time to all our favorite characters from the series. Even if it doesn’t bring anything totally new like the first movie did, it’s still full of feel-good vibes that fans will really enjoy.

In Italy, Gru’s voice is done by Max Giusti (in English it’s Steve Carrell). Meanwhile, Stefano Accorsi voices Maxime (with some extra flair in his speech), and you’ll hear Carolina Benvenga as Lucy instead of Arisa.
